Jackie and Shadow, our beloved bald eagle couple, welcomed their first egg of 2026 on January 23. Their second egg followed a few days later, but sadly, both eggs were lost after a raven intruded on the nest.
Even with this setback, the 2026 nesting season is just getting started, and there’s still hope for more eggs and, eventually, eaglets!
