The officer involved said the bird stayed quiet with police, but after a few days at the vet, he suddenly started talking. He said, “I’m Mr. Yosuke Nakamura,” and then recited his full home address down to the street number.
Police checked the address, found a Nakamura family living there, and told them they’d found Yosuke—reuniting the parrot with his home.
